Happy Spring

Cool, c’est le printemps. Ça me met de bonne humeur. Et en plus il fait beau. Et on est vendredi.
Pense Bête: penser à avancer les aménagements extérieurs de EugenieStreet. A faire: terrasse en bois, pergola, peinture des escaliers, peinture de la terrasse devant mon bureau, et…jardinage- un point faible chez moi. L’espérance de vie des plantes a toujours été lamentable sur mes territoires.
Le week-end arrive et nous seront par là: peut être l’occasion de cocher un ou deux trucs de notre interminable liste?

Yesss! Spring is here. This makes me happy.
It also reminds me we have to make progress in our garden: wood deck, pergola, painting the stairs and the terrace in front of my home office…and also gardening. Not my forte that last one. The life expectancy of plants has always been terribly low with me.
Good thing the week end is coming, we may tick an item or two off our interminable list!

 

Printemps à l’intérieur. Au fait oui, je dois toujours finir de retaper ce meuble. Mais il a déjà bien changé depuis que nous l’avons trouvé.

Spring time inside…By the way, I still have to finish sanding and reparing the vintage sideboard. Remember how it was when we found it?

The initial project for stairs and terrace. It changed considerably with a concrete double stairs – more harmonious to our taste, and also much more practical to enter the house through the living room from anywhere in the mini-garden.
Below the stairs to be painted: they will be white on the side and dark grey (like the shutters and stair balustrade). I’m not 100% sure there, still trying to visualize, so this may change.
